Bacon Ranch Jalapeno Chicken Burgers

1 lb. organic ground chicken or turkey

4 slices of organic bacon- crumbled

1 jalapeno- seeded

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried parsley

1 tsp dried dill

1 tsp dried chives

1 tsp salt

pepper to taste

OPTIONAL: cheese

Cook bacon in a skillet and set aside. Don’t throw away that bacon grease. You are going to use it to sauté the jalapeños first and then to cook the burgers!

Add diced jalapeño into the pan with the bacon grease and cook until tender. With a slotted spoon, remove the sautéed jalapeño from the skillet and add into a bowl with ground chicken or turkey, garlic powder, parsley, dill, chives, salt, pepper, and crumbled bacon. Form into patties and place back into the bacon greased pan over medium heat. Add cheese if using! Cook through and enjoy!

This is great in a collard or lettuce wrap, salad, GF bun, tortilla or in a burger bowl!
